My parents tell me I'm a hypochondriac which might be true.. but?!

Question: for about two weeks now I've been getting a little pain in my head. It's not a headache exactly and I sometimes get a bit dizzy. My parents say it's stress and it might be and also I have sinuse problems and maybe thats why I feel light headed today. Ive also been getting a little back pain not bad pain though.
On an unrelated symptom my tummy constantly makes sounds even when I've eaten especially when I'm lying down or I'm nervous...and sometimes it hurts even when I'm not hungry.

Help anyone I'm nearly 18 and average weight relatively healthy.

Sinus Problems can cause your head to feel funny, and maybe postnasal drip is upsetting your tummy more than usual.

Also, my tummy makes noises all of the time, and it is really bad when I am laying down on my stomach, or when I am nervous.

I think it's just a normal thing.

seek help for the hypocondriac part.
other than that it is likely stress. you make it worse because you worry too much.

Your parents may well be right. Its hard to say.

spring break is not too far away. If it is stress, sleep for 12 hours straight and you'll feel great when you wake up

You sound pretty healthy to me. Don't go worrying yourself into bad health; take up a relaxing sport, like swimming and you will feel much happier.

The stomach noise thing is most likely just stress and nerves. My stomach used to do that all the time when I was in school, it would get really bad when I was taking finals in college (which made it even worse because it was quiet! LOL) so it's just something to do with nerves and stress.

For the head pain, have you had your eyes checked lately? Sometimes if you need glasses (or a change in prescription) you will get slight pains and/or headaches.

Find a counselor to help you untangle this, & to find a better way to handle stress...
