insulin is not bad for your arteries. Having diabetes is bad for your arteries. Diabetes goes hand in hand with heart problems, High cholesterol, and High Blood Pressure. As to the myth of not being able to eat anything. You can eat what you want with-in moderation. Be careful what you do eat and do it in a healthy manor.

Insulin injections are less painful than finger pricking for daily testing!! It is a hassle to have to remember the hours and be on time, but not a hard thing to do.

It will preserve your tiny blood vessels and nerve endings by normalizing your glucose levels more than just pills do. Any time we can have tight control of the glucose numbers we have less damage to the rest of the body!!

You can have anything you want to eat, but within reason and within good sense also!! We must eat a good balanced food plan at all times, not gain weight, so we must have small portions. This might mean eating fairly often so as not to ever get hungry feelings, but too much food will pack on the weight!

Insulins will cover all the carbs, but we must be extra careful not to have to take too much of it. It is the fat storage hormone in our bods!!

firstly insulin is injected subcutaneously which means into fatty areas not in the arteries as for how it feels well needles are so fine if someone else injected you they could do so without you noticing and yes you can eat almost anything (in moderation which varies on carbohydrate content) except for jams and syrups and alcohol will cause you to go hypo.

Insulin is not bad for your arteries. Insulin is what you need to survive. You can pretty much eat anything you wish as long as you watch your portions and take the proper mediciation.
I am 26 and have type 1 diabetes and have been needle dependent since I was 12. I am used to pricking my finger and giving myself shots. Honestly I give my shots in my lower abdomen and I do not feel it.

i'sorry, i don't know anything about insuline reaction...
