Strep throat...?!

Question: I think i have strep throat; my throat isn't killing but it is a little swollen and inflammated; but yea, I have a constant headache, I'm really weak, and I get dizzy easily. My throat was hurting me a little bit yesterday and that's about it. Is it strep throat or something else? I'm guessing it is.

Its hard to say. I work in a clinic, and do throat cultures all day long. I have seen many a sore throats, you don't have to have a fever, or white bumps in your throat to have strep. Do you have a cold first?
I have to say that the majority of people with strep do Have a fever at one point or another.!
That is your body trying to fight off the streptococcus bacteria.
gotta get a culture done...to know for sure.

Does is burn when you try to swallow? Can you see white spots on the back of your throat if you look in a mirror? Do you have a fever?

You should go to the doctor get it checked out no matter what. If it is, antibiotics won't help you get better faster but it shortens the amount of time you are contagious.

Could be , but only a throat culture can be sure. If it is you will need antibiotics. Strep throat is nothing to fool with, it can lead to other complications. Go to the doctor!!

me too :[

gosh,this really does suck!

see your doc. There's a simple test he can do to rule out a strep infection.
