People's own immune systems sometimes cure hepatitis c. There are also antiviral treatments that can make this more likely.

From http://hepatitis-c.emedtv.com/hepatitis-...
"Studies have shown that about 40 to 80 percent of people have a successful response to treatment with combination therapy. This means that no trace of the hepatitis C virus can be detected in their blood six months after finishing the treatment."

not if it doesn't resolve 6 months after exsposure.
more often than not, the disease becomes chronic.
there are absolutely NO cures regarding naturopathy, herbal remedies, cleanses, urine therapies, electro-therapy and the like. Those are all scams and only after your money.

You either learn to live with it or you do antiviral chemotherapy.

Sometimes the truth hurts. You have a disease that can only be helped by medication. Antiviral chemotherapy is the ONLY possible treatment with a "sustained" response- ie, the virus can go dormant. Those who have a sustained response to antiviral chemotherapy post a year of treatment are considered cured.

HCV IS NOT TO BE PLAYED WITH!!!!! Lesson your chance of extrahepatic diseases and cancer by speaking with a qualified doctor of medicine!!!! Preferrably a gastrointestinal doctor!

YES...a third of patients who develop acute hepatitis C will be completely cured while 2/3 will develop chronic Hepatitis C. To know for sure is get an HCV viral RNA (PCR).
