ex. the cold could lead to something else that escalades to something else and so on and so on until you die. . . or more specifically just the cold . . . if untreated and a persons immune system can't fight it off. . . they would die.
No, not the common cold. But it can turn into things more serious like pnemonia and that certainly can.
