I had ringworm so bad once. the doctor said he nevr saw anything like it. What is was is: we had fleas, I got bite like hundreds of times and then i itched the ringworm and then the hundreds of bites...so imagine that! It was a nightmare...
But one thing the doctor did tell me was to be glad it wasnt in my scalp, because it could cause permenent hair loss...OMG YOU BETTER GO
TO THE DOCTOR ASAP! no one wants to be partially bald! Cream won't work alone...you need the prescription pill for this...to get it totally out of your system...cream is for minor cases.

There are many skin conditions that can affect the scalp!! Has a doctor diagnosed this as ringworm??? It could also be psoriasis or sebhoreahic dermititus or excema!! There are many possibilities so you need to have a doctor take a look! There are treatments for most every thing that can make you symptoms better. You are not alone!! I have psoriasis!! Characterized by red itchy areas that are covered with whitish dead skin that comes off when scratched leaving a red, tender and often bleeding spot behind!! Get a proper diagnoss so you will know which type of treatment to try - there are many and it is often a matter of trial and error to find the product that will work for you!!
