Head Lice Question!!!?!

Question: I have lice--what a pain. I am an adult with no kids but I work in a school and most likely got it there. I have been to a lice center where they one by one move each louse and nit. Problem is I have been there three times this week! I have dried everything in the dryer, vaccuumed, and washed my hair with the "natural" shampoos to prevent their return....I have 2 dogs and some cats. I know that Lice can not live permantly on them but is there a change that they can hang out and then get back on me? Help what I am I missing they should not be returning.

They a real pain to have i know !what i do is put 3to4 drops tea tree oil into my shampoo when they are going around and this takes care of the problems !it kills them and also is a great preventative measure when they are going around!Good luck hope this helps

GET SOME RIDX SPRAY AND DO YOUR FURNITURE AND SEAT IN YOUR CAR THE LITTLE BUGGERS LIKE TO HIDE EVERYWHERE ALSO BOIL YOUR COMBS AND BRUSH

Mayonaise works to kill lice.

Get some disinfectant and some of the special head lice shampoo.

One thing my mom did when I was little was put mayonnaise in my hair and put a shower cap on my head and let it sit overnight

Wash pillow cases and bed linens. Clean combs and brushes daily. Do not get too close with other people and do not borrow things or let others lend yours.

You should use a shampoo made for lice. You can get it at any drugstore.

Unfortunately, what you have to do is wash everything in your house, esp. clothers and bedding in hot water. Everything from hats, scarves, coats, etc. Dry on a hot setting also.

I would also ask a pet store for some type of shampoo in case they are on your pets.

Vacuum thoroughly, mattress, pillows, furniture etc. Good luck. Lice is a pain to get rid of!

put flee bombs in your house it takes two weeks for the eggs to hatch and your animals may be carring them so i would get them cleaned buy new pillow and sprya everything and deep clean eveything throw out your bushes and clean your CAR deep clean Good luck dont use any fruity shampoo

You have to make sure to get every single egg out of your hair. Use one of the lice combs daily. If you miss even one egg, that thing will spawn (so to speak) and you'll have a head full of lice again.
