I think I might have athlete's foot?!

Question: Today when I was laying down watching TV , my dad saw the bottoms of my feet and told me that he thinks I have athlete's foot.
And I've been wondering if I really DO have athlete's foot.

? The bottom of my foot loots kind of yellow.
My skin is sort of yellowish to begin with. Like the same
tone as Alicia Keys. http://images.google.ca/images?hl=en&q=a...

? The skin on the balls of my feet , up near my toes is all
peely. Not completely - just like little patches.

? The skin under my toes sometimes splits.
This is from dancing , but it might contribute to my whole
potential-athlete's foot.

? In some spots the skin on my feet looks rough.

Is this athlete's foot?
If yes , how can I get rid of it?

Dancing will probs cause it.
It's a fungus that likes to grow and will thrive when your feet get hot, ie through dancing!
If it's really itchy then it probs is but you can buy creams over the counter in any pharmacy to fix you up!

Well, do your feet sometimes burn, itch, or bleed because that is also a clear sign of athletes foot. If it doesn't then you may have nothing to fear, but it's still uncertain to say. You may want to consult a doctor anyway, just in case you have a bacteria infection.

if it doesn't itch i believe you have dry skin. start by removing the dry stuff a little at a time (or it will be tender) if it itches i think your dad is right

Tinactin is great. Wash your feet twice a day with warm water and mild soap. Dry thoroughly and apply as directed on tube of Tinactin. Good luck to you.

you didn't mention ITCHING .. that is part of athletes foot .
If you suspect ahlete's foot .. I would tell you to try an athete's foot spray (use as diected ) and the athlete's foot should be gone in about 2 weeks. if this works , you should keep it around as a preventitive measure .. use it after you take showers ...
I suffered from athlete's foot for years until i found a good spray
You can find a good spray in the foot section of your drug store or pharmacy .
If this doesn't work see a doctor !

My feet do the same thing!!!!!! i dance, and the balls of my feet and my toes are always peely! My mom (a PA) says its athletes foot. All you have to do is find a product for athlets foot, My mother called it Chlotrymazol (or something of the such), and use it!

Wear clean cotton socks and put foot powder in your shoes everyday.
