Face Rash?!?!

Question: Last night I noticed a small rash forming on my jaw line. I went to sleep and then the next morning, it was HUGE starting at the apple of my cheek all the way down to the base of my neck. Basically covering all of my right side of my face. All I have done so far is cover it with a cold facecloth, which is taking the irritation away, but its not going away. It is very bumpy, red, itchy and swollen. I went to a sleepover the night before and slept on a matress. There were two dogs, but I have a dog at home so I don't think thats it. I ate alot of junk... but isn't that an old wives tale? So If anyone could recommend any creams or lotions or whatever that would be great! Thank you. :)

You might have something called cellulitis. It is inflammation of the skin caused by bacterial infection. It is cause by bacteria entering your skin through an opened wound. The signs and symptoms include redness, swelling, warmth, tenderness, and sometimes fever. The most common treatment for this disease is antibiotics.

If you are having concerns, go see your doctor.
