Hi, my skin has actually cleared up a LOT after starting metformin in November 2007. But it took a couple months.

I am not on birth control med right now, but when I am it usually helps my complexion too, so maybe stopping the shots has something to do with it?

Caveats:
* I have PCOS.
* I have also majorly cut back on my sugar intake and I think that has helped my skin-- how's your diet?

Took metformin for many years and never had the problem

I have never taken metformin but it could because people respond to different medicines in different ways. So it is possible.
