You can try first treatment for east infection, if it does not work, it may be bacterial infection and that should be treated with antibiotics.
For now you can try to put some honey on the area. Keep it for some time and wash it with water with baking soda. I know people also use garlic.You can do sit bath with calendula, chamomile or baking soda.
