Hi. Not only have I seen it, I have one. It is my first pump and I waited until it became available in California so I could get it. What a really neet thing this is. I am able to put the pod on places of my body that I couldn't get at to give myself injections. The pod makes having diabetes almost like not having diabetes. You have a PDM which communicates with the pod via a wireless signal. You don't have to carry the PDM with you unless you want to check your BG or it's time to eat. Insulet will come out with a new PDM sometime in the next year that will also communicate with the Dexcom 7. This is something that I really will enjoy, a constant glucose monitoring system. I have found out that you can go to the gym and work out without fear of removing it. But please remember this, This is my first insulin pump so I am really impressed. Good luck
no
i just got a minimed
minimed can be with a glucometer that auto sends your levels to the machine
ask about it
I have the MiniMed, but I saw the OmiPod in my doctors office. It looked really cool, but it was still big enough were you would see it through your clothes. I where tighter shirts so it would look like a lump underneath my shirt, so in my eyes, it is no better then my MiniMed.
