definitely fungus. ask your doctor for a perscription of lamisil, not the OTC creams, but an actual Rx. should clear up completely in about two to three months.

Does it look like this?

it's a fungal infection. You need a RX to get rid of it (kill it) and then the nail needs to grow out.

Its a type of fungus that grows in your nail my grandma had I dont know wht kind of doctor she went to for it thoguh

fungus

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... u cant do anything! its deformed!!!!!!!sick!!

You have a fungal infection under your nail.

Go see a doctor.
.

Sounds like onychoymicosis (sp) "toenail fungus"...you need to go to a dermatologist...they will RX a pill like Lamisil you will have to have it cultured (easy) as the insurance will most likely not cover the meds without a culture...you will have to have blood work done (ALL anti-fungals are a liver toxin)probably with each RX (it is usually a 3 month course) and you will also use a topical of some sort (Penlac..Erztaco...) and even after all that you still need to let the nail grow out before it actually looks "good" this could take up to a year!...any how go get it treated before it infects your other toes...GOOD LUCK

looks like fungus

It sounds like fungus, which is nothing serious. You doctor could give you medication for it but if it is not bothering you, besides the way it looks, you might want to leave it alone, the meridcations to treat it come with side effects way more scary the fungus
