I could use some help?!
Question: My son and I disagree on this. He thinks God already has assigned us a death date the day we are born. I think he is wrong like his doctor wants to test his heart because his dad has a bad heart disease which can be passed on to him. He is having the symptoms that his dad had and every one else has with WPW disease. He refuses the test saying I want die unless it is meant to be .Do you agree with him that I should just let it be or with me check it out . He is now 18 so what can I say?

Indeed, if you are religious, God has already set from the beginning of life when and how you are going to die.
Sometimes symptoms can be very similar from one disease to another but you definitely have to take him to the doc. Try asking other relatives and friends who have influence on him to convince him..maybe his girlfriend if he has.
Try speaking to him explaining and trying to convince him with this example: "There was a very faithful man which believed he could b saved by God. Once there was a terrible storm and eventually everything started getting flooded....There came the neighbors when they saw the water growing and told him to go with them to a safer place but he replied he trusted God so much that he was sure he would be safe. Then the water grew and the firefighters came to take him from his house but again he replied he trusted God so much that he was sure he would be safe. Then it came a man in a boat and told him he was welcome to jump into his boat and he would put him on safe...and he replied once again the same...At the end his house got flooded and he died. He was very upset when he met God in heaven and asked God why He didn't save him if he was so faithful to him....Then God told him -look, i send your neighbors, i send the firefighters, i send the man in the boat but you refused my help...I couldn't save you, you didn't want to get any of my chances..."
So maybe he will see that doctors, treatments and medicines are the ways that God is offering him. Hope this helps.
Get him checked out. I have a heart disease and I had to get surgery to stay alive. Ask him "Would you rather die sooner or later and enjoy your life a little bit longer?" It could be really serious. Get him checked out pleaaasseee.
i agree that God knows when u are going to die but you should still take precuation...i recommend getting the test.
i believe only god knows when and how we are going to die. but i am going to try to stay alive as long as possible. and live a good like. 18 years old they can be so stubborn and think they know everything. you cant force him. but you could tell him that it would relieve your stress and see if he would do it for you.
