What is moderate central canal stenosis at l5-s1?!
Question: It is a narrowing of the spinal column which then puts pressure on the nerves in the central canal of the spine & can cause radiating pain down the leg or tingling/numbness in the feet.
You have a narrowing between the following vertebre: Lumbar 5/Sacral 1 in the lower back.
I have spinal stenosis between L4 & L5.
Exercise strengthening the abdominal muscles & rest can help.
If you are exercising, walking, etc; blood rushes into the canal & puts more pressure against the nerves in the central opening in the spinal column.
.
Not fun. Ice helps. I've been in physical therapy.
Good luck to you.
