I am wondering if shingles can effect your whole body,with a lot of pain and itc!

Question: i have had shingles on my left hip for eight years with pain in between outbreaks.three months ago i got an outbreak on my forehead it affected the right side of my head and face.isnt it only suppose to affect one side of the body?i get pains in diffrent areas but it feels alot like shingle pain.

shingles are from the same virus that causes chicken pox, therefore it can spread to all parts of the body.

Shingles can be all over and are extremely painful.
