Doctor wants me to take a blood test for anemia and diabetes?!

Question: What are the signs for any of these diseases? I am a bit worried.

Answers: What are the signs for any of these diseases? I am a bit worried.

Well, I have both of these things.

Diabetes is called the "silent killer" because there is often no symptoms. Sometimes unexplained weight loss, but that's only type I.., sometimes waking up shakey and sweating, or waking up really thirsty and drinking a lot of water, frequent urination.., low blood sugar (which you often have with diabetes) shows it ugly head by making you feel shakey and irritable until you get some food in you.

Anemia is low iron. Symptoms are more obvious. Tired all the time, feeling weak, shortness or breath upon easy exertion or feeling "more out of shape then I should."

Both can also give you heart palpitations or irregular beats that feel weird.

Good news! Both are very treatable and nothing to be afraid of.., just take care of yourself!

well diabetes is like u feel dizzy and jumpy i think and anemia i know cuz i have it..
its wen u feel really weak, ur pale, and u know that redish part on ur bottom eyelid? if its like a LIGHT pink then its most likeley anemia. healthy is redish. good luck!

Be sure to do the fast, otherwise you'll screw up the test and not get accurate results.

Don't worry about it too much until you find out what's really going on, but if you're a fast food and donut freak, you'd better start changing your ways. You should avoid that stuff even if you're healthy.

Don't be in denial and avoid the test. Find out what's going on so that you can take care of yourself. It's not like you're going to court for some crime. The doctor's trying to keep you healthy.
