this happened to my grandmother. people don't ussaly die from lukimiea, its the medications or cheom's and threapy that go wrong. if you are allergic to something or medication that was supposed to help you gets you sick and you have lukemia its harder to fight the sickness. you could die from a simple cold because you body doesn't have enough white blood cells to fight it off

I think your body can lose it's ability to fight off infections and things, I belive leukemia effects the immune system and the blood so eventually stuff just shuts down. I know it effects your white blood cell counts.
