Any ideas of getting rid of my allergies?!

Question: Pills do not work and I can't afford a doctor. I'm looking for something cheap and natural to help with this. I like to be really cold because it seems like my allergies don't act up then. In the morning, when we turn on the heater. I start sneezing, my nose gets plugged up and its hard to breathe. It doesn't only happen when the heater is going, but also when I get warm. I dont think it's dust being blown around since in the summer, when we have the ac on, I dont get this problem. Any ideas of relief?

You may want to check the filters in your heating system, and either clean or replace them.

Since your allergies don't act up when it's cold, you'll want to keep the temperatures down- and you're doing that already.

Some people say that a spoonful of local honey helps. I don't know if that will help with your especial problem, but it's not likely to hurt- unless you're allergic to honey.

Another thing you may want to consider is removing artificial additives from your food and cleaners. Again, this isn't a guarantee- but it won't harm anything.

If you have carpet, take it out and use area rugs instead. And wash your curtains periodically to remove dust and cobwebs.

Good luck!
