Help..Am I overracting?!

Question: Ok. I hooked up with my freind's freind 3-4 times and i always used a rubber, except there was once a small problem when the condom broke because i guess it got dry and i pulled it out because it felt diffrent. Now my stupid freind tells me that when she drinks she goes crazy. She apprently went to a club got drunk and had sex in the bathroom with a random person, then had sex with another guy the same nite. this happened the weekend that just past. last time we had sex was about 2-3 weeks. i already told her she a damn slut and to **** off. im worried tho..cuz that time the condom broke. should i worry

I think you have a lot of nerve calling her a slut- you slept with her after all yourself. You obviously knew then you were not her first, so I guess you thought you were the second, right? When you "hook up", you take a chance. Your risk is not actually all that high- but yes, you took a risk and now you have the worry. I suggest you set your mind at ease with a trip to the clinic for an HIV test, as well as the other associated STD's. And do consider, if a girl is willing to simply "hook up" with you, she has probably hooked up with others in the past and will do so again in the future. You haven't behaved a lot better either, after all- it takes two to hook up, as you so quaintly put it. In order for a girl to be a slut, there have to have been many willing fellows as well. And you were a willing fellow as well. At least you were smart enough to use a condom. For the future, you might want to consider investing in a new pack of a decent brand to avoid repeat breakage. You will also want to consider your partner a little better.

have you had any symptoms? has anything out of the normal happened? If not, you are probably ok, but if you are concerned go to the doctor.

Of course you should worry.

Look at it like this - whoever she has slept with, essentially, you have slept with him too.

go get this checked by the doctor... if you don't feel anything wierd then you shouldn't be worried.

yes, you have every right to be worried. but then again, just because a girl is a "damn slut" doesn't mean she's not careful and not using protection. maybe she is and maybe she isn't. either way, if you feel that she is practicing unsafe sex with everybody she has sex with then go and get yourself tested at a reputable clinic/dr.s office.

make sure you list all the STDs you want to be tested for. lots of people think that they get tested for ALL but you that's not always the case. make sure you mention HPV, Hep A, B, C, HIV and all the others.

I would get checked out to be on the safe side. With HIV, the symptoms can take several weeks, months, even years to manifest. It is better to be safe, then sorry in the long run. Most cities have clinics that will test for free.

Off to the clinic with you...good for you to use a condom--but maybe choose your partner more carefully. There are STD's like herpes and warts that just need the skin to skin contact, that is not a "fluid" issue too, so beware the "safe" feeling a condom can bring.
