That depends on your individual healing pattern. Full recovery can take up to 20 days or so and the older you are when you have a tonsillectomy, the longer it can take.

But you're not that old and it's been only 3 postop days and you're going through the worst of it. You'll feel much better in 7.

It depends on your age. Four year olds are fine in a week. Adults take 14 to 21 days to recover.
