Gifts for 3 year old with leukemia?!
Question: My friends daughter has just been diagnosed with leukemia. It is her 3rd birthday in a couple of weeks and I would like to get her something that may make the next few months of chemo a little more bareable as I know she will be very poorly! Any ideas?xx

Gift cards to her favorite places to eat,
coloring books and crayons,
colorwonder,
playdoh,
movies,
legos,
stuffed animals,
a fun backpack with wheels (this is GREAT to carry things to and from the doctor!),
baby doll,
a camera (something very inexpensive that she can use to take pictures of her new friends at the hospital),
ball,
new pajamas,
music,
sticker book,
fisher price little people,
Really anything you would normally get a 3 yr old girl for her birthday would be fine.
You might offer to help mom out with whatever she needs while her daughter is undergoing treatment. The family will need lots of help. Babysitting (if there are other children), cooking, housekeeping.......
Some nice pyjamas, cuddly toys, a cd player and a nice happy cd to go with it, books, colouring books, sticker books...anything she can do to pass the time while she's on the mend.

Well.... I think you should maybe consider buying her something that she could use for the rest of her hospital stays, a portable DVD player. And then you could buy her some good movies for 3yr olds and maybe get her a nice soft blanket to go with it. Good luck!
