8 weeks pregnant and coughing up green stuff and blood.?!

Question: Ok, i'm 8 weeks pregnant and i keep coughing up this green stuff (been happening for about 3 weeks now). I used to smoke but stopped as soon as i found out that i was pregnant. But the last few days i have been coughing up blood. Is it normal to cough up green stuff or is that just my lungs getting rid of the tar? and why am i suddenly coughing up blood too? any ideas people?

I have booked a doctors appointment but would welcome any ideas to ease the coughing!!

You have an upper respiratory infection. The blood is from a sore throat caused by excessive coughing. Make an appointment w/ your physician or your baby may be harmed.

when's the doctor's appt?they should of had scheduled an appt the same day or next day,due to the lenth of your syptoms and you being pregnant.
the couphing up green stuff sounds like you have a lung infection.now the blood i'm not sure on that.hope its nothing serious, and hope you have a healthy baby when your due.good luck!

Sounds like bronchitis, I did the same thing when I had it and the blood was actually coming from my sinuses although the green junk came from my lungs. You doctor can diagnose this but thats what it sounds like to me. I am sorry that you are sick while pregnant it sucks!

sweetie, go to the doctor as soon as posible, I was coughing blood to and it was neumonia. Search it and see if the you could have it. take care.
