Is there a natural "cure" for sinus headaches?!

Question: I get sinus headaches so bad. I have to Claritin all year, when it gets real bad, I switch to Claritin D. Unfortunately, this doesn't help the headaches when they start up. I take over the counter meds to help them, but I would love to know what can help my sinus problem, without having to take all the meds.

Thanks!

I just had nose surgery, I had the most horrible headaches you can ever imagine, at some point I thought of chopping my head off, seriously..!! It was awful, but I had to do something about it, Whitesand is right, the neti pot works great, even right now, recovering from surgery is helping me a lot, I had to have surgery due to other issues like a blocked nasal way and a deviated septum but, this thing works very good, you shuld try it..!!

Have you heard of a neti pot you put a warm solution of salt water in it and pour it in your nostrils to cleanse them. Oprah had a show on it and people that have had sinus problems have had excellent results its worth a try.

Move close to the beach!

Have you seen that commercial for HeadOn?
That stuff works so well, whenever I get a sinus headache I use it and it works pretty well. It is kind of like a balm that you put on your forehead.
Check a drugstore.

Wendy Jean, I've had sinus problems all my life. The best "cure" I ever got was minor sinus surgery which allowed better drainage, but the tissue swelled again after a few years. Welcome to Square One, huh?

Recently my doctor and I have been talking about me using a neti pot twice a day, every day, whether I'm having symptoms or not. He says his patients with chronic sinus problems who stick with it report improvement, especially those whose involved sinuses tend to be the ones on either side of the nose. It's not very effective on the ones behind the eyes or at the eyebrows.

A cheesy plastic version, with 50 saline packets, costs about 10 bucks and does the job as well as a nicer one.

I take garlic oil by the pills. I have bad sinuses also. You may want to take the odorless one that are not oil. Hope you feel better
