Liver Desease.?!

Question: When you have liver Desease and you are still drinking alcohol, you're liver is scarred, enlarged and white-ish. After you have given up drinking for 2 yrs, it does shrink back to it's normal size, but does it still looks white with the black spots? Although the Liver will never perform as good as it once did, as Liver Desease still remain's and alway's will.

the liver is the only organ that can, in time, regenerate and grow fit again, but it has to be looked after. if they say dont take alchohol, then DONT! also i think you,ve gotton in a bit dep, knowing exactly what colour it is and everything, the more knowledge we take, the more worried we,ll become, just concentrate on getting yourself back to normal.

and your question is??

it does shrink back but im not sure after how many years u have given up drinkin. probably a few years

no kidding..what's your question? are you drunk?

It sounds like your trying too convince yourself of something your hoping too be correct. No drinking, period. Remember everything you breath in, or put in your mouth is filtered through your liver, and not just your drinking but the pills you take all has an effect on your liver. Have you seen a gastro doctor and/or had a liver biopsy too determine exactly how bad your liver really is? what is your viral load? curious.
