What does it mean when the aorta curves towards the right instead of left?!
Question: my 1 year old had a chest x ray and the radiologist noticed that his aorta has a defect. He had said that the normal aorta curves towards the left and my sons is curving towards the right. I was just wondering if any one knew what this was called or what treatment was. I am taking him for an echo in the next few days but I just want to be somewhat prepared for what ever they tell me. If anyone could help me on this I would greatly apprieciate it. Thank you
