The way my allergy shots go is I get 2 shots each week, one per arm, and am going to have to go weekly for 6 months, after that it's going to be another 6 months of biweekly shots, and eventually once a month.
For the shots themselves how much it costs is going to depend on what you are getting a shot of and if you have health insurance. I don't have to pay to have the shots given to me, my insurance covers that at 100%, but the little vials of allergen serum cost me $5, with my insurance paying the rest, which would be $976 otherwise. Crazy money.
I hope you have insurance, and if you do that will effect how much you pay.
Well here's the deal. It depends on what you are getting allergy shots for. Then you have to determine the frequency in which you have to be administered the shots. If you have insurance then you have to look at your co pay less what they charge retail. This is really a discussion to have with your allergist.

Depends on where you live. My serum is 300 and some and the insurance pays it. My insurance also pays for the weekly shots. Other wise it would be $25.00 each time for two shots. So I really think it depends on where you live and the dr.
