Very much so. Diabetes alone can harden the artery walls (Atherosclerosis) and complicate circulation leading to strokes, kidney and heart failure. Smoking alone compromises your circulation and together are a double whammy. My podiatrist (foot doctor) who I saw shortly after my diagnosis said that smoking increases your chances of leg amputation by 50%.

as opposed to smoking when you dont have diabetes i suppose? then it's safe?
if a loaf of bread had a health warning on it who would buy it? no one.
but smokers buy cigarettes, where the pack actually tells them smoking kills!!!

Smoking is dumb whether you have diabetes or not!
