Bacterial Vaginosis.. [People who know]..?!
Question: I picked up my antibiotics today for my infection -- (BV). I'm just wondering if I'm still able to take them while I am on my period? I didn't ask the Pharmacist because it slipped my mind. I figure it's alright. Does anyone know for sure? Should I contact the clinic or the pharmacy?

Yes it will be fine to take it during your period. If you are taking Flagyl (I was just taking it) be warned no Alcohol at all and it leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. Also be sure to take all the antibiotic and it may cause a yeast infection after you finish.
