Mono and meningitis?!

Question: Is mono the same thing as meningitis?
or are they 2 diff. things?

Do you think I have mono?
Here are my symptoms:

tired(of course)
rash on cheek
dizzy sometimes
swollen glands
throat red and infected

O and what does it mean if you have swollen spleens?

I know I am answering this late but...what you described doesn't sound like menengitis, which I had once. With that you have light and sound sensitivity (I had to wear sunglasses inside), and my neck got real stiff and I had a serious headache, even what I thought was a migrain. I can serioiusly say it sucked. But if you wanted more info on it I copied some info for ya:

What Is Meningitis?
The central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) is surrounded by cerebrospinal (say: suh-ree-bro-spy-nul) fluid. This fluid acts to cushion and protect the central nervous system when you move around. Even more protection is given by the meninges (say: muh-nin-jeez), which are the membranes that cover the brain and spinal cord. Meningitis
is a disease involving inflammation (swelling), or irritation, of the meninges. There are different kinds of meningitis, but most of the time it is caused by germs, especially viruses.

****Hope this helps! :)
