ketones.it has something to do with protein metabolism/possibly diabetes? i dont remember from school exactly what they are,but i have heard of ketones in the urine.look up ketones online.

Do you mean ketones? If so and they are present in your urine you need to go the the doctors as this is a bad sign.. In diabetics its the sign of poorly controlled sugars and if left unchecked will make you very ill and could eventually lead to coma. Get yourself checked asap.
I think you mean ketones. If you already know about it then I am assuming you have taken a urine test. If so your doctor should be considering a blood test, as ketones can present in people with diabetes. Give your doctor a call. x
