Sick sex? (mature advice please)?!
Question: I just found out today I have mono.
My boyfriend asked if I'm still allowed to have sex
(before you warn me about him catching it, WE KNOW)
i was just wondering will that put my already enlarged spleen at risk?

When I had it I was adviced to be careful because of spleen damage. I still had sex but I was careful not to be tooooo "wild". If you are up to it "GO FOR IT!"
I'm not a Dr., but I really don't believe there is anything to worry about (in that respect). Just try to limit how much energy you use. My daughter has mono right now too, she's a bit younger than you (I think!) ... the Dr. has restricted her from participating in gym & sports. Feel Better Soon!
