Can you get lung cancer form smoking...?!

Question: pot??

Answers: pot??

Moderate smoking of marijuana appears to pose minimal danger to the lungs. Like tobacco smoke, marijuana smoke contains a number of irritants and carcinogens. But marijuana users typically smoke much less often than tobacco smokers, and over time, inhale much less smoke. As a result, the risk of serious lung damage should be lower in marijuana smokers. There have been no reports of lung cancer related solely to marijuana, and in a large study presented to the American Thoracic Society in 2006, even heavy users of smoked marijuana were found not to have any increased risk of lung cancer. Unlike heavy tobacco smokers, heavy marijuana smokers exhibit no obstruction of the lung's small airway. That indicates that people will not develop emphysema from smoking marijuana.

probably, but who cares.

Oh Yeah! It actually has more nicotine than regular tobacco.

DUHH.

whistles......dances.....sings.....guess... yes.

Well technically yes, but more than likely you wouldn't smoke as much as someone who is smoking traditional cigarettes. People who smoke cigarettes often have 1-2 packs or more a day. people who smoke other recreational drugs often share a drag with a friend, and usally go a day or two inbetween.

It has nothing to do with nicotine. You get lung cancer because the smoke causes tar to build up and collect in the aveolar ducts (lung capsules that produce clean oxygen) any kind of smoke does this to the lungs. coal miners had lung cancer because they breathed in a lot of coal. Once too much tar is in the lungs you can also get emphysema( a build up of fluid in the lungs that will cause you to cough and lose ability to take in a healthy amount of oxygen

No.

Marijuana use is not linked to lung cancer.
While the plant may have cancer-causing chemicals, the THC kills off any aging cells, therefore eliminating anything before it may become cancerous.
