Question: my husband hasn't had a physical in about 8 maybe 9 years because he hasn't had health insurance. We have been together for about 6 years and having sex. Now he was tested and has it but I tested negative. How is this possible? Shouldn't I have gotten it by now?

you may have a healthy balance of your own vaginal bacteria that fought off the chlamydia, I'd wait two weeks and get tested again to be sure you are clear, in the meantime you should use a condom so your husband isn't re-infected in case you do have it.
You should probably get tested with a different doctor.
Did he just get it so that you haven't contracted it yet?... meaning, maybe he is cheating......
