Having survived a brain haemorrhage against all the odds and made a full recovery, yes, I consider myself very lucky indeed.
Many do not survive or are disabled. My thoughts are with those who are not so lucky and their families.

Being born healthy and living a whole lifetime completely healthy is extremely lucky. But i think people expect this!

Absolutely - I have ichthyosis, but not harlequin ichthyosis - how brave are these kids. So many people truly don't realise how debilitating some skin diseases can be

When i feel down in the dumps,I try to back up and regroup and think of all the + + + + in my life.
Yes I do realise how lucky I am. Have a large family, and all are healthy - I pray they stay so -
I don't feel lucky. Seeing sick people doesn't make me feel any luckier. I've got my problems, they're not as bad as some peoples and worse than others. That doesn't make me feel lucky to be me, it just makes me grateful that I'm not them.

Very definately! Two yrs ago I had bowell cancer and 1 yr ago my husband had prostate cancer. We've had the operation, the chemo and everything else. Now we are both fine, both been given the all clear and both looking to be discharged this year and getting back to a normal life. Boy are we lucky when you consider how it could have gone....
