Answers: two totally different diseases one is bacterial and infectious the other is due to a mineral deficiency and causes significant health problems they both cause alot of damage to the body but they are from two different mechanisms

No, scurvy is caused by a Vitamin C deficiency. Lyme disease is from a tick bite.

No, it isn't. Scurvy is the result of a dietary deficiency in vitamin C; Lyme disease is not related to limes, but is named after a city (I think) called Lyme and is caused by a type of bacteria, often transmitted by ticks.

Haha if this is a joke, then no-one else has spotted it!! lol

Hmmm eating too many limes or none at all which could give you scurvy...or something like that lol :-P

ha ha ha, Ken.
And I have friends who've said,
"So, what was it like... did you turn GREEN?"

S-Q-U-I-R-T!!
"Whoops..sorry to get that lime in your face, Kenny."
