Breast pain and discoloration?!
Question: I have been having sharp and burning pain in my right breast. A couple of months after the pain began I had a dime-size red spot show up near the area with the most pain. It faded to brown. A week after that showed up, a second red spot, same size and shape appeared a half inch about it. It too faded to brown and now both have been there for over a month, maybe 2 months now. I have been to doctors and had ultrasounds done. All they say is that I have benign cysts. Could it be Inflammatory Breast Cancer? What do I do? No one will biopsy it.
Any info helps, my pain is intense and daily.

If you are concerned that it could be Inflammatory Breast Cancer then find a doctor that will do the biospy. So few doctors know how to diagnose it that it is good to be forceful. I know someone who found out too late. It is a very aggressive form of cancer. They should do it just for your piece of mind.

find another Dr. if you are that worried. normally an ultrasounds will give a better view than a mammogram. mri's give even a better picture. just tell the Dr. that you would feel more confident if they would give you a MRI.
