Could I have strep throat?!
Question: Around Sunday morning I woke up and had the worst sore throat of my life, I couldn't even breathe without feeling pain in the back of my throat. The thing is, I knew I didn't have a cold because the sore throat was the only problem I had. Then I just now found out that my boyfriend had gotten strep throat. I need to know if I had strep throat and gave it to him, and if there's a possibility he gave me the strep throat now/again?

Sounds like you both have strep, but only the doctor can tell by taking a sample of mucous from your throat. You better get to the doctor and get on antibiotics if needed. I've included a link that gives you a little more detail.

if u hav white stuff formed at the back of your throat near your tonsils then you most likely have strep throat and you need antibiotics to cure it
if it is just your throat, it could also be mono. definitely go and get checked out...
You could check for white splotches on your throat, hope this helps.
ya i think you probably have it because i had the same stuff and got it back after 2 weeks. bummer u schould go to the doctor and get medican !
if you have swollen glands, a fever, then you may have strep go to the doc, he'll do the quick test that takes like 5 minutes and he'll tell you. if you're coughing you don't have strep
I would do a gargle with baking soda and Salt in really hot water. I would do it for a couple of days and if it doesn't help go to the doctor.
you might have tonsillitis i woke up one morning and my throat was like how you described and my doctor said i had tonsillitis and strep throat.
