Bronchicis and work "10 points"?!
Question: So I have bronchitis and I am a nail tech, around chamicals and fumes. I have had it for 5days now and feel better than I have but still my chest is hurting and coughing badly. My boss is killin me by bothering me to get to work but I'm not sure its a good idea to be around the chemicals or if it wll make it worse... ANy thoughts?

You will probably have to give it a try to see if your lungs can handle the fumes. It might irritate them and make your cough even worse. Maybe you could wear a surgical mask to see if that helps (the kind you can buy at any pharmacy). Hope you feel better! Good Luck!
ya i think you can go to work but ur cough will be there for 2-3 weeks after you recover.
If you are taking antibiotics and can wear a mask, you should be good to go back to work, BUT if your chest still hurts and you are coughing a lot, then do yourself a favor and your clients and stay home. Plus get to the doctor, a cough that hurts should not last this long.
