I used Acutane 60 when I was about 20 years old. My acne wasn't awful but it was consistant and the pimples were large. I was also passed the acne age and I wasn't supposed to be getting acne anymore, but I was. I took Acutane for 6 months, it worked. I've had some pimples since then but nothing as bad. I had dry hands and lips (I've had to carry lip balm around all the time since then), I had slight rashes on my hands. Dizzyness is also a symptom - you should google it.
I'm 30 now

I used acutane after I had my third child. It cleared up my skin completely, but also brought out post partum depression. It is known to cause depression in some people. I was medicated for that also and now I am depression and acne free. My face was covered in pimples, and they were red and sore and I felt awful when Id go out because I felt everyone was staring at me and laughing. I tried alot of things before my doctor finally refered me to a dermatologist and I can say that the Accutane worked for me!!! Good luck!!

My ex roommate used to use it, and he had pretty bad cystic acne. It worked for him, but be sure to use only the recommended dose, it can be hard on the liver.

That medication is a serious medication and the doctor makes you sign a waiver stating you will not get prenant for 5 years after taking this med caus eit can cause birth defects! It does work but is it really worth it for you for all the risks?
