Anyone had a throat ulcer?!
Question: So, I just got over the flu - Long story short, I was drinking some water and it hurt the right side of my throat and radiated to my ear. Looked in the mirror, the right side of my throat was bright red with white specks that come and go. Also a little red on the roof of my mouth as well but no spots.
So I went to doc and he said it was most likely a throat ulcer from having the flu. Strep Test was negative. Anyone ever had these before? How long will it last? Is it dangerous? I'm a bit of a hypochondriac! And I always feel rushed out of the doc's office before I can think of these questions. So just reassure me that I'll make it. :) Thanks!

My firend had them. It should go away in a few days. did ur dr say if you had a Viral throat infection. since you were negative for bacterial infections like strep throat?
