If you cry when you you have a pig-stye, does it make it better or worse?!
Question: FIRST - I'm really sorry that people are such idiots...you would think people would try to "help" not just make comments.
SECOND - A sty is a common infection or inflammation results from blocked glands within the eyelid (not the tear ducks - so it won't help to cry).
When the gland is blocked, the oil produced by the gland occasionally backs up and extrudes through the wall of the gland, forming a lump, which can be red, painful, and nodular. Frequently, bacteria can infect the blocked gland, causing increased inflammation, pain, and redness of the eye.
The good news is... The lump frequently goes away when the blockage of the gland opening is relieved. Furthermore, the infection goes away when the pus is drained from the sty...
So, get a good mirrow, with magnification and a pair of tweezers. it is likely an ingrown hair blocking the gland or you may need to pop the gland to relieve the pressure - BE CAREFUL - around your eyes with anything sharp...or you may end up crying anyway!!!
Hope this helped. PS - be patient usually someone will be helpful - you just have to fight through the line of idiots that actually take (waste) time to write that stuff....
I have heard of a few things that work
