I was 18 and 290 when i got approved..i didnt end up getting it though because i did not like the hospital i chose, but i am researching other ones. Good Luck
it depends on how tall you are, what your BMI is, what co-morbidities you have. things like diabetes, hypertension, health issues like that are co-morbidities.

If your family Dr. thinks that you have tried everything and nothing has worked, then you should be able to have it as long as it is recommended by him/her. I hope that you have insurence. The surgery is very expensive but worth it if you stick to it
I have known of people as young as 16 having surgery. I personally think it is better for young people to try exercise and diet to lose weight before they resort to surgery. This is major life-changing surgery.
