You haven't burnt your skin at all- honestly! i use the same one as you and it IS for facial hair as well as other parts of the body. The burning goes after a while and the next day its fine- honestly its nothing to worry about its just because the upper lip is a sensitive place of the body and thats why it burns (to me it stings) more than other places. The longer you leave it on the more it stings- i usually leave mine on for about 5 mins but what ever you do do not leave it on for any longer then 12 minuets. when rinsing it off make sure you do this with cold water and dab with a soft towel once you have washed it off- dont rub. Its completely save to use regally as i use it once a week. Dont put any type of moisturizers on after either this makes it sting even more. The next morning (depending what time of the day you have used itm i put mine on last thing at night when am getting a bath) its all smooth and no stinging lol. Facial waxing also makes the upper lip sting too- not just Nair. Dont worrie!
Hope this Helps x

If you read the instructions, I think you're not supposed to use it on your face.

It's chemically burned. Put some ointment on it (like neosporin) and it should heal within a day or so

well first of all, you shouldn't have used it on your upper lip unless it was the kind specifically for your face..
read the back of the container and see what it says to do if you get it on your face/eyes etc. or what to do if it irritates you. if it says to seek medical attention, then seek medical attention!
rinse with cold water and use ice/ice packs to try and get rid of the redness and stop touching it!

You have a chemical burn from using nair on your face. This product is made for the tougher skin on you legs. Go to the pharmacy and talk to the pharmacist. He/she is better able to advise you then most people here.

put vaseline on it!! don't touch it anymore and don't put cold water on it because that makes it hurt more... and no mosturizer either... it burns...
just vaseline! and I heard egg white works too... but you probably don't want to do that

Try some ice.

Essentially what nair does is burn the hair off. I think you'll be ok. This may be too much info but a few months ago I thought I could try using to get rid of pubic hair. Well, I ended up getting some in my pee hole. Yeah, I know too much info but....it burned like H*LL for about 24 hours and I could barely walk but after that I was fine.

try an aloe sun burn healer.
