Could i have pnemonia?!

Question: i had a cold for 4 days. my symptoms were dry throught, mucus/ hacky cough, occasional stuffy nose, and my body ached. the cold is gone now, but i still have a weird cough. im not coughing anything up, its just kind of dry and hurts a little bit. i cant really control it either. also, when i take a deep breath, my throught and lungs get a little bit of pain. my mom thinks i might have walking pnemonia? could i? if i do, how can i get rid of it?

thx

You could have a redigual cough from having a cold. Sometimes people get a chest cold and have have a cough untill the summer when the weather gets warmer. You should go to the doctor and have it looked at. If your mom is right, and they normally are, the doctor will be able to perscribe you something for the walking penmonia. There is no way to cure it except with antibiotics. If you do just have a redigual cough the doctor may perscribe an inhalor, to help ease it so you can sleep and generally feel better. Good Luck

Yes very possibly, go to the local walkin clinic or your doctor. I had pnemonia but i had a sore throat and ear ach with mine. IF you have a sore throat and u thought it was strep its not u dont get a cough w strep!
Feel better!!!
If its walking pnemonia u will probally get a Z-pack!

You need to go to the doctor and get a chest x-ray. That's the only way to rule out pneumonia.

If not treated properly, pneumonia can be dangerous.
