My son gets extremely wrinkled hands after taking a bath. Why is that?!

Question: Every time my son bathes for even 10 minutes, his skin on his palms gets so wrinkled that it hurts for him to open his hands. Can anyone tell me what causes this?

Osmosis.

Its a sign of dehydration. The hands get all prune-y trying to soak up the water through the pores of the skin. I learned this in my college anatomy and physiology class. Make sure he gets his 8 glasses of water each day!

It just that his hands must suck up water faster I don't think that its abnormal or anything its just his hands seem to take on water and wrinkle up quickly

everyone gets pruny skin on their hands and feet when taking a bath.

cuz hes turning into a raisin

happens to me all the time. if it gets worse go 2 a doc
