VERY Serious Personal Question!! 18 and older please....?!

Question: Ok, well here is the thing, I got a pap smear and blood test done about 3 weeks ago, everything turned out completely normal. They tested for everything, so I know I dont have herpes, but there are these small insect bite looking bumps on the outer skin on my vaginal area. they are red, but they dont bleed, puss, or anything, they just itch from time to time. There are maybe about 3 or 4 that i noticed.

They dont hurt, they dont sting, and I dont have any other symptoms that came along with them, I also haven't had sex since my testing so I know it wouldn't be that either...

no flu symptoms, no burning while urinating, nothing....just these red bumps...

I have had them for about 2 to 3 days now....and just curious as to what the hell they might be???

Your thoughts??

It could be a yeast infection. I had the same thing happen to me, and I was freaked out. I thought that yeast infections were only on the "inside" but it turns out that symptoms can show up on the "outside" too. You can buy yeast infection treatments at a drug store, or maybe just try Vagisil first to see if that helps.

see a doctor or gynocologist immediatly
you might have crabs

if you shave it's just razor burn or ingrown hairs... iv had that happen a few time about a day after i shave and they do itch ... use a shaving gel for sensitive skin

Maybe you've always had them but never noticed, since there are no symptoms that accompany them. It probably is just the way you are made.

Are the underwear you are wearing too tight? The rubbing could cause irritation. If you workout and sweat alot or are very moist down there you could get a rash. Make sure you wear comfortable cotton underwear and keep yourself clean. If you shave down there, you could have razor burn and ingrown hairs. Maybe try some vagisil powder and just put a small amount to absorb moisture and keep you from itching. If the bumps persist, see your GYN.

Well, I would go back to my doctor and see a good gynecologist and find out what I had. You do not want to fool around with this problem as it might get worse. Also, you do not want to start a new relationship and spead this around as it might be contagious. So, you have an obligation to noy only yourself but also an obligation to society to take care of yourself and go see a doctor and not spread this around. I am not a doctor but it sounds like a medical problem.Good Luck! And do not spread it to another innocent person. Be honest with your partner! Bye!

You can get a yeast infection on the outer area of your privates. This would cause itchy bumps. It is from dampness, tight pants, wearing a wet pad too long, etc. I would still have it checked. To be safe. Also could be 'razor burn' from shaving.
