Question: This guy I know refers to it as "the love bug" and does not bother to tell women he has herpes. But apparently he doesn't have sex when he has "the love bug". Yeah. Like that makes a difference.

Any person who knowingly has an STD and has sexual contact with another person without informing that person of their own sexual status can face criminal charges.
This has been seen with cases of HIV transmission. I would think it would also apply to other STDs.
I would take the legal road...and file charges against the SOB myself. No way would I let him get away with that. I would make sure that he paid for his selfishness and irresponsibility...and he would not pay lightly.

Well, I never had sex with everyone I saw anyway. So I never had to worry about that. But I'd make him THINK love bug!! He's a PIG!!
Prosecute him for intent to do bodily harm, sue him for emotional harm and damages....
Make sure every person he knows finds out that he does it.
