How do i get rid of vitiligo?!
Question: Vitiligo is an auto-immune disorder where your own bodies immune cells start attacking the melanocytes (pigment cells) within your skin.
In order to treat it they first prescribe you topical immunomodulators such as Protopic (tacrolimus) or strong corticoidsteroids.
If they do not work they will give you oral immunosupressants such as cyclosporin but these durgs have harsh side effects so i'ts prescribed in a risk vs benefit fashion.

vitiligo is a tough one. sometimes it can be improved & other times not. you need to make an appt. w/ a dermatologist & he/she can give you the best chance of an improved outcome.
