Bad headache after taking Xanax?!

Question: an hour ago i had a panic attack. i took xanax, and within 20 minutes, my attack ended.

though now i have a really bad headache. is this normal?

If the panic attack was severe enough, yes it is normal, because the attack with cause a sudden raise in your blood pressure which will cause a head ache, take some tylenol, or something, have something with caffeine in it ( if that doesn't trigger your panic attacks) and lay down in a quiet place or put your head down for about 20 minutes, you will feel much better. Sorry to hear about your attack, hope you are feeling better.
